The Xodus
has been replaced with the Xodus II - a new internal design with
a larger bearing, a more durable axle / hub, and thinner spacers.
The result is a stronger yo-yo with greater performance and greater

Xodus II, Click Here for the full
instructions that came with your Xodus II.
The Xodus
II is built for durability and performance and is designed to
take the punishment of Off-String play. If you have any problems,
please note the questions and answers below as they are the most
frequently asked.
1. My yoyo
slips out when its thrown - what's wrong?
This
usually happens when the gap widens or loosens during hard play.
It also may be because the yoyo is not tightened down hard enough.
To fix, simply tighten down the yoyo until the halves do not move
anymore. With the Xodus II this may require a bit of pressure.
Please make sure the spacers are in properly before you tighten
down the yoyo. Spacers should have their smooth side, face the
yoyo body.
If this does
not work, try winding the yoyo tightly by winding it with strong
wraps around the axle. If for some reason you are still having
trouble, please email Yomega at info@yomega.com and we will send you replacement spacers (no charge, one set per
customer) that will make the gap smaller and make this problem
disappear. Please remember to provide us with your name and mailing
address!
2. There
is a noticeable wobble during high-speed spins, how do I fix this?
Although some minor distortion may be unavoidable, most wobble
issues in the Xodus II are due to a loosely assembled yoyo. To
fix, please tighten the halves with some added pressure until
they no longer move. This will not require extreme tightening.
Tightening the yoyo too hard may cause it to break. If a wobble
continues, please email us at info@yomega.com and we will send you out replacement spacers that may eliminate
this issue.
3. My yoyo
is non-responsive - meaning it won't come back when I flick my
wrist. What gives?
To get
the Xodus II to become more responsive to your recall commands,
simply lubricate the bearing and axle. This can be done with Yomega
Brain Lube® or baby oil. Also, if your string is worn or dirty,
replacing the string will help with recall issues.
4. My Xodus
II snaps back to my hand really fast when I throw it down - what's
wrong?
Most
likely your string is pinched on the inside of the yoyo. Disassemble
and restring using the single loop method.
5. My yo-yo
is not spinning very long. What could be causing this?
Please
check to see if you have the metal spacers in correctly. The smooth
part of the spacer should face the smooth part of the yoyo half.
Said differently, the part of the spacer with the raised inner
circle should face and squeeze the bearing.
6. Are
the rubber rims interchangeable?
Yes,
they do come off and can be put back on other Xodus II yoyos.
7. Can
I buy spare parts?
Parts will be available in the parts section of the Yomega online
store and will be specific to the Xodus II. Or, you may contact
Yomega at info@yomega.com
